A family land-work company built on twenty years of heavy civil construction
Custom Cut Land Works is a family-owned land clearing and excavation company serving seven South Carolina counties across the Upstate and the Lakelands — Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Pickens, Laurens, Greenwood, and McCormick.
Owner Brian Van Emmerik grew up working on his family’s farms in the Midwest, where he learned early that land takes care of you when you take care of it. He went on to spend more than twenty years in heavy civil construction, helping manage projects like the Ravenel Bridge in Charleston, the I-385 Gateway in Greenville, and the Port Mann Bridge in Vancouver.
Custom Cut Land Works is where all of that experience comes home — to the driveways, home sites, pastures, and properties of our Upstate neighbors. Brian’s three boys are growing up around this work the same way he grew up on the farm, and the business runs on the values the family lives by: honesty, hard work, and respect for the land.
