Yes, they are the same work, and this is the page for both. "Lot clearing" usually describes a smaller, defined parcel like a residential building lot, while "land clearing" tends to mean acreage, but the machines, the permits, and the way we scope it are identical. Whichever way you searched for it, you are in the right place.
We will tell you when that is the cheaper job. Ground that has been let go under about three years is usually still bush-hogging work rather than clearing, and it costs a fraction of what clearing does. Past that, saplings outgrow a rotary cutter and clearing is the honest answer.
