Easley is growing fast — new lots along Highway 123 and the Hwy 153 extension toward Powdersville, and rural acreage with pasture and timber out Dacusville Highway on the north side. We work both: pad and driveway grading for new builds, clearing and stump removal for older tracts. The ground here is Cecil and Pacolet red clay on foothills slopes, and it washes if the grading is wrong. Custom Cut is run by the owner. Most single-lot residential clearing under an acre stays below the county permit threshold, but check before you cut. Pickens County's Office of Stormwater Management requires a land disturbance permit at one acre or more — or under an acre if the work is part of a larger development plan. The state adds a simplified stormwater plan for one to two acres and a full engineered plan over two. We sort out which applies before any dirt moves.
